Responsibilities
We’re building a world-class marketing organization and assembling the right team to begin scaling aggressively. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something big and transformative, someone who will play a critical (and broad) role in driving our success.
Ideal Candidate
**Within one month, you'll:** * Get up to speed on Lever’s product, our target audience, our brand, the role of events at Lever to date, what’s worked/not worked, and our projected marketing programs for the year * Secure dates and venues for all Lever events in the first half of 2016, including Lever’s first customer summit * Plan logistics for Lever’s first customer advisory council kickoff **Within three months, you'll:** * Quarterback the planning of our first customer summit, including building out the master timeline/project plan, liaising between all stakeholders to agree objectives, goals and metrics, invite list, format, high-level agenda, program, venue, vendors, budget, speakers and more * Strategize, plan and execute on a pilot of our first in-market roadshow; make recommendations on how we should proceed based on results and learnings * Partner closely with marketing colleagues in Demand Gen, Product Marketing and Content Marketing to ensure that these events help us deliver on overall marketing objectives **Within six months, you'll:** * Host our first successful customer summit; complete full post-event assessment of event including wins, areas of improvement and initial recommendations for 2017 event * Plan every aspect of Lever’s presence at HR Tech Conference in Chicago; lay the groundwork to ensure we are the vendor that everyone is talking about at the show, for all the right reasons **Within twelve months, you'll:** * Devise our full global event and tradeshow strategy and budget for 2017 * Provide major input into how we position Lever’s brand in the long run Develop a ‘minor’ in a secondary marketing discipline (e.g., Demand Gen, PR, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing) to broaden your vantage point as you plan future events, and increase your long-term career/personal development options
