Summary
The Business Network Services Product Management team is responsible for a $6B product portfolio targeted at the Business segment and is a part of the CenturyLink Global Markets organization. This Individual Contributor role will be responsible for managing a subset of products & related programs within the portfolio. This position will report to a Manager- Product Management leader in the organization and will be responsible for a subset of product(s) that are part of the Business Network Services portfolio. This includes E2E product lifecycle management of the product(s), creation of programs to drive growth & continuous customer experience advancements, and establishing the overall product roadmap.
Responsibilities
* E2E product management responsibility. * P&L responsibility and complete 360 oversight of the product(s). * Establish the objectives and work plans for the success of the product(s). * Determine and maximize the position of each product and practice area relative to market needs, competitive positioning, and relations to other product families within the CenturyLink portfolio of services. * Identify and manage partners and suppliers supporting the product(s). * Responsible for executing on programs to enable growth and maximize profit. * Collaborate with key stakeholder & supporting organizations including: Segment Marketing, Channel Marketing, Marcomm, Sales, Strategy & Development, Service Delivery, Operations, IT, Development, Network Engineering and Planning. * Able to matrix manage cross functional teams with representation from multiple organizations crucial to the product line’s success.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience, and 6+ years of experience; or Master's Degree and 4+ years of experience * Product management and/or product development experience. * Understanding of current and emerging technologies & trends including networking, digital, mobile, and software based services. * Proven track record of consistently achieving product management success. * Excellent communication skills to include: verbal, written and presentation. * Experience working with customers and external supplier communities. * Prioritization, organization, and time management skills. * Entrepreneurial drive, high energy, integrity, and strong work ethic.
