Summary
Seeking a high performing Associate for a Delivery Manager role to support Litigation with an emphasis on Legal Discovery Management. The Delivery Manager is responsible for maintaining Third Party Engagements in compliance with the Corporate Third-Party Oversight (TPO) Program. The DM is responsible for confirming that processes are adhered to by their respective Third-Party Providers (TPPs), and for verifying that appropriate procedures, risk assessments, remediation plans, and performance monitoring is taking place with respect to each Engagement and with each Third-Party Provider (TPP) as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to requirements of the Corporate TPO Program - Utilize defined Corporate TPO Tools to manage TPO Engagements - Complete Corporate TPO training to understand the TPO Program requirements and recertify completion of the training every 12 months - Work closely with the Legal Third Party Management Office (TPMO) to ensure best practices in managing Engagements and associated TPPs within the Program - Develop a strong understanding of the TPO policies & procedures - Implement and maintain TPO Engagements across the supported business area - Maintain Engagement details and provide subject matter expertise regarding the product and service provided by the TPP - Perform day-to-day operations management - Partner with the Business to develop Vendor Exit & Resiliency plans, as required - Monitor contract development to ensure execution, approvals, proper filling , and compliance with TPO, Risk and Sourcing requirements - Monitor contract terms to ensure renewal and/or termination requirements are met - Assist with SLAs tracking and help ensure that Third Party Providers maintain compliance with corporate TPMO policies and guidance - Assist with various Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program initiatives working closely with the TPRM Leads to communicate risk assessments with the TPPs - Ensure timely and successful resolution of any remediation plans identified by the risk assessment of the TPP’s controls - Timely communicate material changes with the TPP or TPP’s non-compliance with JPMC requirements (changes in management, process, deterioration of SLAs or other performance or risk issues), to the stakeholders, Business, TPMO and other LOB management as needed to determine appropriate course of action - Coordinate with internal control groups and act as a key escalation point for third party issues between: TPMO, Sourcing, Technology, Risk Management, Business - Work with LDM business management on projects for senior management of LDM, Litigation, and the Legal Department
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree preferred - Prior experience in one or more of the following functions/roles is desirable: Technology, Operations Risk Management, Sourcing, Audit, Vendor Management, Project Management - Experience with IT Risk and other risk management issues, assessments and resolution - Ability to work effectively within an extended and matrix team environment - Strong relationship building skills and ability to work with all levels of staff, including Senior and Executive management - Client service mentality with focus on supporting of key business stakeholders - Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to understand business functions and processes quickly - Ability to develop efficient workflow processes, using technology solutions (SharePoint, Excel, etc). - Working knowledge of Phoenix system is a plus - Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation - Ability to focus and pay attention to detail - Highly motivated with positive 'can do' attitude - Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work, and deliver high quality results quickly
