This position is for those with basic understanding and some experience in developing web applications based on We're looking for a Jr. ASP.NET developer but more importantly we're looking for the right person. Ideal Candidate
This position is for those with basic understanding and some experience in developing web applications based on Microsoft ASP.NET platform using the MVC framework with C# code and Razor view engine. A qualified applicant is required to build scalable, high-quality and high-performance web applications using this technology. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent -- preferably in Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test Minimum Score: Successful candidate must score 30 or higher Additional Requirements: High speed Internet connection Audio headset Location: Remote Work. Location of the applicant is not important. Employment Type: Full time - Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM MST COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Spoken English (Strong/Advanced Level) Ability to communicate in a phone conversation, video conference or face-to-face meeting using standard American English with perfect grammar and proper use of words. - Written English (Strong/Advanced Level) Ability to communicate and create documentation in standard American English with perfect grammar, correct spelling and proper use of words that a native speaker of American English would be able understand. COMPUTER SKILLS - Microsoft Excel (Strong/Advanced Level) Ability to organize, format and calculate data with formulas, create charts and graphs as well as create pivot tables from table data using Microsoft Excel 2007 or better. - Microsoft Outlook (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to compose, send and organize email, organize appointments, and manage multiple user’s calendars using Microsoft Outlook 2007 or better. - Microsoft Visio (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to create flow charts, gantt charts, organizational diagrams, network and architectural diagrams, and any other diagrams as per business and/or project requirements. - Microsoft Word (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to create, edit and design various type of documents using different styles, layouts and media using Microsoft Word 2007 or better. DATA MANAGEMENT SKILLS - DocumentDB (Beginner) Ability to create collections, store data in well designed documents and create stored procedures that will be used to query and store data in DocumentDB databases. - T-SQL (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to create tables, views, stored procedures and functions in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or better. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SKILLS - AngularJS (Beginner) Ability to use AngulaJS 1.x effectively in web applications, in particular, ASP.NET MVC. Must be proficient and very comfortable implementing solutions using this framework. - ASP.NET MVC 6 (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Proficiency in Microsoft's latest ASP.NET 6. Must be able to create clean and high quality solutions in Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 6 with C# for back end code and Razor view engine. - Azure Storage SDK (Beginner) Ability to create solutions that will use Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, Azure Table Storage and Azure Queues. Having proficiency and high level of understanding of Azure Storage SDK to implement solutions inside other .NET based applications using the SDK. - C# Programming Language (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to use Microsoft C# 5.0 or better in creating web, windows, windows service or mobile applications. A person who is proficient in C# language should not only possess a solid understanding of the language's fundamentals but must also possess advanced skills in using C# in different application development scearios. - Entity Framework 6 (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Clear understanding of ORM concepts and proficiency in Microsoft EF 6 or better. Must be able to use "Code First" or "Database First" approach in new or existing applications. Proficiency in this technology also requires advanced techniques such as reading multiple record sets from stored procedures and being able to perform both a read and write operations by calling a single stored procedure through EF. - Facebook Platform (Beginner) Ability to create web applications and services that access data in Facebook using Facebook APIs. - JavaScript (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Clear understanding of JavaScript foundation and ability to create dynamic web pages using JavaScript. Ability to use client and server side scripting. - jQuery (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Ability to create client side functionality -- including Ajax calls for partial page update. Must be able to also implement and -- if necessary -- customize jQuery code or plug-ins based on project requirements. - Web API (Moderate/Intermediate Level) Deep understanding and knowledge of ASP.NET Web API 2 (or better) and the ability to build API's based on ASP.NET Web API that provide data and functionality to browser and mobile clients. WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT SKILLS - Bootstrap 3 (Beginner) Knowledge of Bootsrap 3 framework, grid system and compatibility features as well as the ability to create and modify Bootstrap version 3 design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation and other interface components, as well as optional JavaScript extensions in web sites and web applications. - CSS3 (Strong/Advanced Level) Clear understanding of CSS3 rules and standards and be able to understand and use CSS3 while working in a project team. - HTML 5 (Strong/Advanced Level) Ability to use HTML effectively and be familiar with and able to use the latest standards in HTML 5 specification.
