Cloud Software Developer

For this role, InvestCloud is looking for a developer for the Cloud Platform team, with the technical skills, customer focus, and a drive to deliver innovative solutions to the challenges faced by today’s investment managers. The focus of the Platform Team is to develop a state-of-the-art technological platform for data and services integration between systems and platforms in financial services and social media.

* Implement business logic in InvestCloud’s application layer * Create components that provide business logic for applications * Make code deployments to production servers * Work closely with business analysts and project teams * Ensure scalability and supportability of the platform * Liaise with production support team to address escalated issues * Work with multiple clients to assess and resolve data quality issues * Work efficiently under pressure, with careful attention to detail * Balance delivery expectations for multiple projects, and prioritize workload accordingly

* Strong knowledge of designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms * Good knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle) and ORM technologies * Working knowledge of Java and JEE internals (Clustering, EJB Life Cycle, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.) * Working knowledge of Java Persistence API (EclipseLink) or similar technologies * Strong problem-solving skills and attentive to details * Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within accepted delivery timeframes * Degree in Computer Science * Knowledge of and/or experience in the financial services industry * Experience with GIT, Maven, Unix, Netbeans IDE * Experience with No-SQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.)
