Our client is looking for a motivated PHP developer to join our growing team to develop websites and custom web-based solutions for new and existing clients, ranging from small businesses and local restaurants to major chains and nationally-recognized brands. The PHP Developer will spend much of their time adding functionality to newly designed websites utilizing our in-house CMS, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing websites. Our process is centered around four-person teams that consist of a project manager, designer, front end developer, and back-end developer. In addition to working within the team environment, we highly encourages and supports cross-disciplinary communication between colleagues with similar backgrounds to continuously improve our services and operations. We've also built and developed SaaS products, which continue to help drive revenue and growth at our agency. - Adding the final stage of functionality to newly designed websites utilizing our in-house framework and CMS - Gathering specifications for website development and providing time estimates - Maintaining and enhancing functionality of existing websites - Setting up and configuring hosting for new and existing websites - Basic setup up and management of email accounts for customers as well as troubleshooting configuration issues - Working with team members and clients to help develop build strategy, quotes, and overall deliverables

**JOB REQUIREMENTS** - Proficiency in PHP with at least 2-3 years of work experience in (code samples will be required) - Experience with SQL (preferably MySQL 5.x) and an understanding of database normalization - Experience utilizing MVC design pattern - Demonstrates experience leveraging OOP principles available in PHP 5.x - Proficiency in HTML and comfortable working with JavaScript - Comfortable working in a Linux (LAMP) production environment - Experience with git, SVN or other SCM tools **JOB REQUIREMENTS (PLUS)** - Familiarity or experience working with ORMs such as Eloquent, Doctrine or Propel - Experience in utilizing one or more popular PHP frameworks, such as Laravel, Zend, CakePHP and others - Experience in any other scripting or programming languages such as bash, ASP, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc. **JOB REQUIREMENTS (SUPER BONUS)** - Familiarity or experience working with Silverstripe/Sapphire CMS/Framework - An LP collection - Tolerance for flying screaming monkeys
