Data Analyst for IT Client Services

Responsible for analyzing data processing projects for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyzes and reports user requirements, procedures, and projects to automate or improve existing systems.

* Gathers, converts and loads data to the dialers. Data is timely, accurate, and complete. * Uses proprietary applications to manipulate client data. Understands the effects of the processes and knows what tools will be needed to achieve the desired results. * Analyzes and tests data to identify errors and ensure conformance to standards. Analyses and testing is effective, timely, and conforming. * Performs quality control by comparing data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors. Work is accurate and completed on time. * Reviews plans outlining strategies and steps required to develop programs to meet staff and user requirements. Plans are timely and appropriate. * Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data, achieving 100% accuracy. Data is timely, accurate, and complete. * Reviews and analyzes computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems. Analysis is effective and timely. Modifications are effective. * Writes documentation to describe and develop operating procedures. Documentation is timely and effective. * Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs to meet staff and user requirements. Knowledge and understanding of industry topics is contemporary. * Ensures strict confidentiality of client records. Information shared only as appropriate. * Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment. Morale and productivity are high. * Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers. Methods and processes are effective and timely.

**Minimum Requirements:** Associates degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related work experience. Ability to create small application programs and manipulate data using SQL. **Essential Job Functions:** Mental: Must be able to effectively communicate with others; complete and understand complex analysis of numbers; read, analyze and interpret written materials; develop team to meet and exceed company standards; ensure compliance with company policies; respond appropriately to feedback to make improvements; maintain positive working relationships; troubleshoot and solve problems. Physical: Must be able to hear and verbally communicate for hours at a time, use computer equipment. Moderate noise level and limited exposure to physical risk. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:** Knowledge of modern business communication, office procedures and methods. Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
