Staff Accountant

• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Prepare month end journal entries
• Prepare month end account reconciliations for both GL accounts and bank accounts
• Prepare daily reconciliations as needed
• Track and assist in regulatory compliance, including US GAAP and IFRS regulations
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Maintains Accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls and policies
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Maintains customer and management confidence by keeping financial information confidential
• Assist in internal and external audit process
• Ad hoc analysis and project work as directed by Management
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks

• 1-3 years of professional accounting experience, with advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business; a higher degree and/or CPA is a plus
• Demonstrable basic understanding of, and ability to apply, US GAAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong sense of curiosity
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Hyperion accounting systems is a plus

• Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field.

• 1 year: Accounting

Preferred

• 2 years: Months end reconciliations
• 2 years: General Ledge
