Summary
As a Product Manager with Jacquard, you will use your technical expertise and business acumen to seamlessly collaborate with teams in Engineering, go-to-market, Product Marketing and Finance, leading product roadmap definition and managing brand partners and clients on an epic scale. Through your leadership you will develop thoughtful, customer-focused and innovative solutions to complex problems, inspiring your stakeholders and creating a robust and profitable product strategy. You will also have an eye to business development for Jacquard, building and leveraging relationships with new customers founded on trust and integrity to facilitate opportunities. One of the driving forces of innovation at Google is our Advanced Technologies and Projects (ATAP) team. ATAP is a fast-paced, solution-oriented group developing and executing projects at the point where emerging science/technology trends meet consumer needs, products and services. Googlers working on ATAP projects will create demonstrations and user experiences that appear magical, simple and wondrous—and deliver at lightning speeds.
Responsibilities
* Use market research and in-depth knowledge of user pain points to define a vision and strategy for the product roadmap and your product line’s partner and ecosystem road maps. * Develop outstanding, strategic relationships with customers' innovation and business teams in order to understand customers' product development and business processes. * Understand and expertly deliver Jacquard's value proposition, key features, product messages and positioning. * Provide customer feedback to product teams to drive strategic alignment. * Create product requirement docs and feature documentation in order to specify how a product or product feature should be built out.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum qualifications:** * BA/BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics or equivalent practical experience. * 4 years of product management or product design experience. * 4 years of consumer electronics experience. **Preferred qualifications:** * MS, MBA or PhD in a technology, or business-related field. * Strong understanding of branding, style, proportions, global trends, technology and fashion.
