Responsibilities
* Analyze, enhance, and maintain a complex lending platform for consumers. * Analyze, enhance, and maintain a suite of web applications using JAVA, MongoDB, Sybase or DB2 databases with React enabled front end. * Execute on all the stages of Software Development * Life Cycle (SDLC) including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical and project risks. * Formulate design and implementation requirements in the system following coding best practices and utilizing Object-Oriented programming and design patterns concepts. * Engage in test-driven development using Junit, Easy mock, Power mock, and DBunit. * Build and release management using scripting technologies. * Package and deploy code to a set of UNIX servers across different test and production environments. Support the system with business users and communicate ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical users of the system. * Provide training and mentoring team about marketing technologies.
Ideal Candidate
* Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Electronic Visualization, UI Design, or a related field * Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Electronic Visualization, UI Design, or a related field * five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. * Must have experience with: performing Java development in a UNIX environment; engineering and administering * Adobe Experience Manager and other Content Management Systems; performing HTML5/JavaScript development for modern browsers; debugging and troubleshooting complex Java software issues on production UNIX systems; * Developing and deploying webservices in Java; designing and developing large scale web applications; * Designing customer-centric user experience solution; working with product marketing team and developing custom solutions that cater to their needs.
