Software Engineer

Improvonia is a web and mobile ordering app that connects food & beverage suppliers with their wholesale customers. We do not buy, supply, or deliver the goods.

- Develop the next generation ecommerce platform targeting the $670B food & beverage industry - Participating in the entire software lifecycle from concept, design, development, test and launch - Collaborating with sales and operations teams to understand client requirements and needed product features - Coaching our sales team in product functionality and developing user guides - Developing external facing APIs to allow integration with third party software providers

- A BS or MS in Computer Science or related field - Proficiency required in: Java, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Hibernate, MVC framework, Gradle, Git, JUnit - Nice to have knowledge of: Bootstrap, Spring, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, Angularjs, Oracle DB, MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, JIRA - Excellent understanding of full web technology stack (e.g. HTTPS, cookies, caching, etc.) - Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text - Knowledge of application security best practices and tools (OAuth, etc.) - Experience with ecommerce software development and/or food & beverage industry are highly desired - Ability to juggle multiple projects and a GREAT sense of HUMOR!
