Software Engineer

Improvonia is a web and mobile ordering app that connects food & beverage suppliers with their wholesale customers. We do not buy, supply, or deliver the goods.

• Develop the next generation ecommerce platform targeting the $670B food & beverage industry
• Participating in the entire software lifecycle from concept, design, development, test and launch
• Collaborating with sales and operations teams to understand client requirements and needed product features
• Coaching our sales team in product functionality and developing user guides
• Developing external facing APIs to allow integration with third party software providers

• A BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency required in: Java, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Hibernate, MVC framework, Gradle, Git, JUnit
• Nice to have knowledge of: Bootstrap, Spring, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, Angularjs, Oracle DB, MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, JIRA
• Excellent understanding of full web technology stack (e.g. HTTPS, cookies, caching, etc.)
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Knowledge of application security best practices and tools (OAuth, etc.)
• Experience with ecommerce software development and/or food & beverage industry are highly desired
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and a GREAT sense of HUMOR!
