Summary
GlobalGiving, the first and largest global crowdfunding community for nonprofits, is looking for a Program Associate who is passionate about making the world a better place. You’ll be part of a team focused on supporting fundraising campaigns for existing and prospective nonprofit partners; assisting in the development of marketing tools and training content; and experimenting and implementing improvements around our strategy to maximize goals related to participation, organization acquisition, volume, and revenue. From crafting communications, tools, and trainings to creating system improvements, the Program Associate takes a lead role in getting current and prospective nonprofit partners excited to participate in campaigns and be successful in doing so. GlobalGiving seeks a candidate who is an effective communicator, strategic thinker, and tireless innovator who can contribute to operational improvements across programs. Responsibilities
* Coordinate GlobalGiving campaigns to recruit and onboard new partners and engage existing partners in content creation and crowdfunding. * Gather data and conduct analysis to support team in meeting and exceeding goals and improving operational efficiency. * Support the Senior Program Manager in developing and implementing marketing tools and training content for prospective and existing nonprofits. * Support our Field Program to help new organizations, including: crafting and disseminating communications; supporting development of trainings; conducting workshop outreach; and engaging in goal-setting and strategic planning for new partner recruitment. * Develop and implement campaign-specific, scalable training materials, events, and resources to support nonprofits new to GlobalGiving to maximize their performance and foster NGO learning throughout the process. * Provide strategic thinking around steps to encourage existing nonprofit partners to participate in campaigns and maintain strong relationships with GlobalGiving. * Participate in cross-team coordination, experimentation, and innovation efforts. * Assist, as needed, in the identification of strategic partners and the acquisition of new nonprofit partners.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in management, business, communications, international development, or related field, or * Minimum of one to three years of relevant work experience; Experience interning, volunteering, or working with a nonprofit; * Familiarity with best practices in online fundraising; * Demonstrated comfort using quantitative and qualitative data to understand a problem, enrich a solution, and/or tell a story; * Excellent oral and written interpersonal and communications skills, particularly cross-cultural and web-based; * Comfort working within and improving systems; strong operational orientation, project management skills, and focus on quality customer service; * Comfort with technology as a power user and as a contributor to improvements in design and usability of web-based user interfaces; * Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and flexibility; ability to multi-task under a deadline, with great productivity and attention to detail; * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant public exposure; and * Strong alignment with and commitment to living GlobalGiving’s core values. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in constituent relations, customer service, client support, and/or similar beneficiary-facing role; * Knowledge of a foreign language; * Working experience with Salesforce.com or similar customer relationship management software; and * International experience, preferably in developing countries.
