Summary
Please Note: Position description and requirements are written at the Sr. Product Manager level however role may be filled at the Product Manager(E4) level. Reporting to the GPM of Access and Distribution, the Product Manager / Sr. Product Manager, LUCENTIS Access & Distribution will contribute to the management, execution and support of Lucentis’ important access and distribution programs. The PM/SPM will need to collaborate across the Access and Distribution team as well as with a broad range of cross functional teams, field forces, and various agencies and vendors in order to ensure a positive experience for our Retina Specialist practices.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of Lucentis Access/Distribution 3 Year Brand Plan, 1 Year Tactical Plan, and on-going business reviews through effective collaboration with relevant partners * Lead the development and execution of the 2015 Tactical plan for the Access and Distribution team * Partner closely with the field on the pull-through and utilization of developed resources * Develop and lead execution of effective Practice Manager strategy and tactics * Develops and manages budgets for assigned brand marketing activities * Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of GNE activities * Significant business travel (~2 times per month), by air or car, is required for regular internal and external business meetings

**Key Competency Profile:** * Teamwork and Collaboration * Communication * Achieving Results * Technical and Business Expertise **Who You Are** * You are an individual with the following qualifications and experience: * Bachelors Degree required; MBA, MPH, PharmD, or other related graduate-level degree strongly preferred * 4 years or more previous experience in product marketing, field sales, or marketing planning management in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry * Field sales experience is a plus, but not required * Strong customer orientation/focus including a willingness to work closely with field teams to meet and exceed customer expectations * Demonstrated ability to create presentations and distill team thinking into clear and actionable recommendations * Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, creativity and proven track-record for innovation * Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals * Strong organizational and project management skills, along with solid decision-making skills, ability to work on multiple and often diverse areas and to prioritize effectively * Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority is very important * Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential * A history of success and learning from failures to garner future success
