Summary
Security Engineer of Cyber Protection Management will be responsible for the daily management of Frontier’s suite of security products related to End Point Protection. The engineer is charged with ensuring all of Frontier’s end point devices are protected. They will be creating and updating any policies within the suite to ensure that said suite is in compliance with Frontier Security Standards and Policies.
Responsibilities
* Administers Frontier’s Corporate Anti-virus solution and works with Operations teams to ensure client is installed and properly updating. * Administers Frontier’s Data Loss Prevention Program to ensure all workstations are reporting in and updated. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and mentor less experienced personnel. * Continually works to improve enterprise security solutions. * Stay abreast of developments in the Information Technology industry specifically as they relate to Information Security. * Creates and maintains proper documentation for End Point Protection suite of software (AV, DLP, NAC, MaaS360)
Ideal Candidate
* BS in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology with major in Security or 6 years’ experience in Information Security field, with at least 3 years working in End Point Protection. * Strong in-depth technical knowledge in information security with emphasis on computer and network security, anti-virus solutions, desktop threat intelligence gathering methods, data loss prevention, smartphone security methods. * 4-5 years of experience in evaluating security and deploying security controls within IT applications and infrastructure technologies (server, desktop, mobile devices). * Experience deploying and using Enterprise Anti-virus solution preferable Symantec Endpoint Protection. * Experience deploying and using Enterprise DLP solutions, like WebSense, McAfee, and Symantec. * Experience administering Windows, Mac and *NIX servers and desktops. * Ability to deal with changing priorities and multi-task several projects * Maintain at least one Industry Standard Security certification, such as: CISSP, GIAC, CISM, etc... * Excellent presentation and communication skills. * Excellent technical and business writing skills. * Experience with Desktop Forensics is a plus.
