Truck and trailer repair services are also offered at a number of locations under the FleetCare brand.
Summary
Provide support to the OEM sales teams by servicing overflow customer calls and house accounts. Provide administrative support to management relative to sales and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
**Essential Tasks** * Make outbound sales call. * Prospecting for new OEM customers through cold calling and searching other media outlets. * Will attend trade shows as an OEM Sales Representative and the face of FleetPride. * Review customer purchase history to identify growth areas. Put together programs to present to the customer. * Work with the OEM sales group to develop and market new products. * Handle inbound overflow customer calls and provide the appropriate service action to all such calls. * Contact house accounts on a monthly basis through a variety of media in an effort to promote special offers as determined by management. * Provide customers with product and service information. * Identify, research and resolve customer issues using the computer system. * Follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved. * Complete call logs and reports. * Create and maintain order reports on a daily basis. * Update and upload customer pricing matrix and maintain pricing expiration dates. * Recognize, document and alert the manager of trends in customer calls. * Process IBTs and special orders. * Cross reference, interchange, analyze and copy proof marketing materials. * Update inventory database for all warehouses (weight, type of part, min levels). * Track customers’ orders. * Process credit requests for customers. * Generate customer thank you letters. * Provide on-the-job training for new team members. **Skills** * Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. * Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating; taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times. * Communicating: Conveying information to others in an effective manner. * Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. * Persuasion: Persuading others to change their minds or behavior. * Service orientation: Actively looking for ways to help people. **Attributes** * Oral Expression : The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. * Oral Comprehension: The ability to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. * Written Comprehension: The ability to understand information and ideas presented in writing. * Written Expression: The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. **Physical Demands** * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications** **Education** * High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) **Professional Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role * Minimum 2 years in a sales capacity role providing customer service at a high level * Prior experience in a customer service environment is preferred **Computer Skills** * Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access * Knowledge of AS400 is a plus
