Summary
The HR Operations Specialist will support the day-to-day HR function and related activities, including administering programs, implementing processes, and assisting with ad-hoc inquiries to ensure an excellent employee experience. This visible role is highly interactive and offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, San Francisco-based international company.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries from our employees. * Administer cross-company HR processes such as onboarding, off-boarding, employee changes, benefits, and reporting. * Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and employee data. * Process new hires and terminations, maintain company org charts and create and maintain employee files. * Partner closely with our Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages. * Administer our HRIS, troubleshoot issues, and perform periodic audits of data. * Generate reports from our HRIS and analyze data using Excel. * Investigate discrepancies on benefit carrier exception reports generated based on file feeds and ensure all errors or concerns are appropriately and timely addressed. * Develop and document HR processes, ensuring continuous process improvement. * Participate in the running of New Hire Orientation. * Support the HR function with ad-hoc projects, special events, reports, data analysis, and information requests. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in related field of study * 2+ years of HR experience, with an emphasis in HRIS administration, and HR Operations. Strong preference for experience working for a multi-site, international company. * Prior detailed experience working with and in an HR system; Ultipro experience highly desired. * Demonstrated success in prioritizing and organizing multiple projects and tasks. * Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills across all professional levels and functions. * Excellent attention to detail and highly analytical. * Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in sensitive situations. * Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working on own initiative with limited supervision. * Solid MS Excel skills, preferably with working knowledge of vlookups, and pivot tables. * Basic knowledge of US employment laws.
