Summary

he social media listening market research analyst is responsible for conducting internal analysis of social media to answer research questions related to the marketplace. This individual will work closely with the market research teams in the business units to ensure the analysis will answer the business question and is correctly interpreted. This individual will also be responsible for advancing the science of social media listening throughout the market research community to ensure appropriate and compliant utilization of this tool. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Lilly Market Research Core.

Responsibilities
  • Design approach and data collection based on in-depth understanding of market, customer and therapeutic area. Understand and frame results with an appreciation of the limitations and potential biases of the analysis.
  • Interpret data to formulate study findings and develop customer and market story which drives the organization to more comprehensive patient-based solutions
  • Develop and communicate study results within Lilly Market Research and cross functional business partners
  • Have a solid team orientation including peer coaching and situational support on teammate deliverables.
  • Provide thought leadership related to the development of standard market research approaches and advanced techniques in understanding and translating customer requirements that impact research, development and marketing of key brands and molecules
  • Work closely with market research teams to integrate digital analytics to create a more holistic understanding of the market and our customers
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of market research experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
  • Additional Skills/Preferences
  • Strong understanding of social media management platforms, web architecture, and analytics and social listening tools
  • Background or demonstrated experience in statistics or other quantitative fields
  • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to influence cross-functionally within and outside of corporate affairs function
  • Priority-setting and project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated learning agility.
  • Effective problem-solving skills
