Summary
Talent Acquisition Representatives will work directly with hiring managers to source, recruit, pre-screen, and recommend talent in compliance with governmental regulations and organizational policies and procedures. Talent Acquisition Representatives partner with business managers to determine screening guidelines for resumes and applicants to ensure that potential applicants meet functional needs and requirements of the available position. They review and evaluate each candidate’s work history, education, training, and other qualifications. They conduct initial interviews of selected applicants to ensure that only qualified applicants are referred for department-level interviewing. Talent Acquisition Representatives inform applicants of job's duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc. They develop appropriate compensation packages, extend offers to selected applicants, and manage the candidates through the pre-employment process to their orientation date.
Responsibilities
* Experience working with an enterprise applicant tracking system for advertising jobs,dispositioning candidates in accordance with OFCCP guidelines and managing candidates through appropriate workflows. * Experience sourcing through multiple job boards, Google, referrals, job fairs, LinkedIN, etc... * Experience with behavioral interviewing techniques in the candidate selection process * Consultative approach when working with hiring managers in regards to talent selection * Willing to put in the extra time and effort to meet aggressive hiring deadlines * Experience hiring over 200+ non–exempt candidates in a year * Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to jump in when needed * Strong focus on customer service with a sense of urgency * Some travel may be required for job fairs/open houses
Ideal Candidate
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** * High School Diploma and 1 year of recruiting, human resources, business or related experience **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment
