Senior Web Developer

Doctor on Demand is a mobile app providing fast and easy access to some of the best doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare providers.

We’re looking for an engineer with strong html5 and javascript skills who is able to apply software development best practices to play a key role in developing our internal and external web applications. The front end team is responsible for crafting high quality web applications supporting both our medical providers and patients. A successful candidate is a self-sufficient engineer comfortable collaborating on a small team and work with the larger engineering group to implement mission-critical healthcare applications.

* Develop front-end web applications primarily using AngularJS 1.5 and Bootstrap integrating with internal Django RPC layer and cloud services * Build unit tests for existing and new features * Follow internal coding standards * Implementing features driven by business requirements * Be available (possibly off hours) to triage/fix production problems, if they arise. * Refactoring of older code to bring up to current standards, best practices * Work closely and collaborate with Product team to iron out requirements * Work with closely and collaborate with QA to ensure proper test plans are produced * Create/review technical specifications as needed

**Requirements:** * AngularJS 1.5, ES 2015 * TDD using unit testing framework such as Karma, Jasmine etc * Bootstrap 3 or Foundation * Html, css, SASS/LESS * Git, experience using command line (ex BASH) * Experience with REST APIs, websockets, * Familiarity with build tools such as WebPack, Gulp or Grunt.js * Must be a team player with desire to collaborate * Strong communication skills * Able to take ownership and accountability for all areas of his/her role * Desire to work fast without hurrying * Organized and skilled at time management **Bonus Points:** * Experience in healthcare related industry * Video streaming/WebRTC * Protractor * Twilio services * Pusher or other websocket messaging * Git flow * Google Analytics, Tag Manager * Mixpanel, Optimizely
