Responsibilities
* Performs analysis of various sales projects, including pricing programs, rebate programs, period end reports, incentive and other programs and initiatives. * Generates sales activity reports and provides analysis. * Process account set-up and maintenance in NDS * Orders and coordinates the delivery of product samples for various sales presentations, training and customer events. * Schedules, coordinates and organizes sales meetings utilizing video conferencing, webinars, and offsite venues; sources offsite venues and negotiates contracts. * Serves as a resource to the Industrial sales teams for new product launch and strategic initiatives (Chocolate and others as defined). * Lead Industrial Sales Team communications internally and externally and serve as the conduit for the Industrial Sales Team * Coordinate and manage meeting and Industrial sales team calendars * Directly interfaces with customers to assist with orders, problem resolution and to implement strategic initiatives. Must develop a working knowledge and contact level with all Industrial accounts. * Manage and maintain daily agenda, business and personal commitments * Maintain, organize and protect personal and confidential information * Coordinate quarterly national and key account sales team meeting schedules and prepare all meeting materials * Process EDI orders and communicate them to appropriate branches * Create Power Point presentations, capabilities presentations, business reviews and customer meetings for national and key account sales team * Organize and prepare all national and key account customer visits and tours to the Pico Rivera, CA plant and distribution facility * Draft and proof accurate and professional correspondence, memos and form contracts * Manage, coordinate and support branch Industrial Team communication to distribution center Industrial Team members and ensure compliance with all sales priorities and actions * Process customer inventory reports and provide analysis to recommend supply levels * Coordinate new Industrial Sales set up and gathering of new customer data sheets. Maintaining customer information database and binders * Participate in all Industrial Sales communications and serve as the internal voice of the Industrial Sales team * Coordinate interface between all departments/channels and the Industrial Sales Team, including Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, R&D and the distribution centers * Oversee and maintain status of all Industrial Trade R&D projects in process * Interface with vendors supporting Industrial Trade team * Compile weekly sales information input from the national and key account team and provide communication of the weekly Industrial Trade report as necessary * Handle customer queries and complaints by phone, mail or email * Prepare and deliver professional correspondences acting on behalf of the VP, Industrial Trade * Prepare and distribute Industrial Trade meeting minutes * Interface with Marketing to ensure Industrial Trade team has all updated materials and resources and coordinate distribution of new materials * Generate period sales, unit and margin reviews of all Industrial Trade activity and provide analysis of major variances * Maintain up to date information review of company, customer and industry websites * Coordinate and run fax and email blast marketing * Proof and edit, published sales catalogs, company publications * Generate sales reports utilizing various internal systems for internal and customer purposes * Serve as a back-up for sales order entry * Review and manage expense reports, calendar, travel for VP Industrial Trade * Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated * Review and manage the HRIS system(s) updates as required for the Industrial Team * Review and manage UI claims as required
Ideal Candidate
* Detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills and multi-tasking ability; self-motivated; and self-directed * Ability to work independently and to exercise significant discretion and independent judgment for the betterment of business operations. * Show willingness to take ownership of position * Creative problem solving ability **Required Experience** * Bachelor degree required. Strong customer and sales support experience required. Position requires approximately 2-3 years experience (work or educational related). Previous educational or work related experience with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data required
