Summary
Valpak’s Media Sales Consultants are responsible for new client acquisition, maintaining and growing business with Valpak’s online, Mobile and Print Advertising Solutions to local and regional business owners. Positions are available in Greater Los Angeles. Valpak is at the heart of communities across North America, helping people save, businesses grow and neighborhoods thrive through a network of local franchises in the U.S. and Canada. We go the extra mile to help our customers grow and are looking for like-minded individuals who value being part of a team and are as excited as we are to build a profitable and sustainable book of business with a work hard/play hard mentality.
Responsibilities
* Sell online and print media campaigns that include Valpak.com, digital media, websites, mobile and Valpak print products. * Prospect for new business daily via online resources, phones, emails, and face to face contact. * Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to sales manager as needed. * Achieve and surpass monthly and annual new account and revenue goals. * Create and manage prospect/client databases (Salesforce). * Conduct face-to-face presentations, closing selling opportunities, renewing, managing and maintaining acquired business to drive revenue and receive residual monthly income.
Ideal Candidate
* Must Enjoy People & Sales! * A strong work ethic and be fearless about prospecting for new business * Comfortable using iPad, Smartphone, Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook and Social Media * Excellent communication skills on the phone, in person and in written communication * Basic understanding of SEO/SEM, PPC Programs, Social Media platforms * Able to manage deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency * Must have a min. 2 year record of success working in a goal-oriented, highly competitive sales market.
