Summary
Provides guidance and functional support to end users, customers and business partners by leading the research and optimization of all HR systems. Responsible for the functional development and implementation of HR Systems by coordinating the review, analysis and testing in all areas; providing production support and delivering new functionality.
Responsibilities
* Provides direction and support for HR systems including researching and resolving HR system problems, and unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, and recommend solutions & alternative methods to meet requirements. * Configuration of various modules and business processes within HR systems including: HCM, payroll, benefits, absence/time off, security, notifications, compensation, talent and recruitment. * Reading release notes and performing knowledge sharing of HR system upgrades. Coordinates and leads the effort for system changes, enhancement and fixes to ensure integration between all systems. * Leads the functional design of system enhancements and interfaces to ensure system processes are integrated and aligned. * Maintain awareness of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems, materials and techniques, and make recommendations regarding new processes and systems to improve efficiency. * Coordinate system related projects and process improvement including integration implementations, enhancements, and technical upgrade/release activities. * Identifies and helps develop HRMS business processes, ensuring process/procedures are complete and maintained, supporting the creation of training and communication materials as needed. * Participates in acquisition and divestiture activities as it relates to integrating HR systems. * Serve as a key liaison with IT, vendors and internal customers. Will provide overall project management for HR initiatives. * Adheres to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for configuration, security and HR system support. * Communicates status of projects, issues and requests, helping ensure deadlines and SLAs are met. * Educating customer base as needed on HRIS System functionality, business processes and general system usability. * Lead, train and mentor team members, with potential for direct supervision of others. * Acts as backup to manager as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or Information Systems desired * 5 to 7 years experience supporting HR Systems, payroll experience desired * Experience working with Workday or a cloud based HRIS system * Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail * Project management skills desired * Knowledge of technical database concepts and design * Strong organizational, project management, written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work with all levels of the company and effectively present information to top management * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Excellent attention to detail * Flexibility, willingness to work in a change-filled environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions
