Summary
This newly-created role will drive the organizational planning, talent acquisition, people development, adherence to Google Food’s People Approach and Compass’ processes, company guidelines and culture, as well as lead implementation of HR administrative deliverables in all sectors to provide the talent framework globally for Compass to achieve execution and partnership at the highest level with Google as it relates to the Food Program. The position requires partnership with cross-functional, global teams within Compass and Google to get work done while engaging relevant stakeholders throughout the planning process. The Global HR Leader for Compass at Google will be an entrepreneurial thinker, creative problem-solver, and culture leader with previous global experience who can build and adapt existing processes in growing markets/sectors that have not already adopted Compass’ existing people framework.
Responsibilities
* Developing and executing organizational plans that enable a sector to achieve and/or exceed its business partnership goals. * Create and implement talent acquisition strategies that attract top talent in global markets. * Driving Compass diversity initiatives and results in the sector and enabling inclusion to succeed. * Driving analysis and feedback to help modify corporate initiatives, salary and benefit programs in order to ensure they remain competitive and relevant with our operations and business partner. * Creating people metrics, dash boards and or on-going people analytics reporting for Compass@Google to support decision-making as it relates to talent and growth. * Participate in Global Team planning, then drive implementation for all people related topics. * Champion all of Compass existing people related processes and guidelines globally to support and help drive our partners business. * Drives / Administers all necessary compliance programs to ensure adherence to employment law legislation. * Strong people management skills. * Vision of HR as a business partner focused organization. * Strong critical thinking and collaborative problem solving skills. * Change management knowledge and skills. * Ability to influence, persuade and inspire others to take action to buy-in and be engaged. * Always possesses a great attitude and ability to win through teamwork.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree required. * Previous relevant experience in global markets. * Proven background in talent acquisition in global setting. * Strong understanding of Compass Groups best practices, HR processes and company structure. * Ability to influence and gain buy-in to new business approaches and guidelines. * Able to develop positive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and colleagues at all organizational levels. * Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight time lines. * Outstanding communication skills that capitalize on a range of channels; demonstrated experience in planning, writing, and producing time lines, project plans and/or support materials. * Strong presentation skills. * Ability to travel globally * Preferred Qualifications: * Entrepreneurial spirit with process and detail thinking. * Experience supporting and/or leading strategic initiatives, working closely with stakeholders at all levels to achieve impact. * Ability to effectively manage and deliver against multiple projects simultaneously in very fast-moving environment. * Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment. * Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. Other: * Extensive travel may be required. * Multi-lingual a strong plus
