Industrial Design at Code and Theory is the rare opportunity to create objects alongside their message. Senior Industrial Designers at Code and Theory have the opportunity to work on products ranging from consumer electronics and home goods to packaging and interactive instillations. Senior Industrial Designers will also have the ability to lend their expertise as physical interaction designers to traditionally digital products and campaigns.

The Industrial Design team is concentrated; everyone is involved in the complete project lifecycle, from pitch and concept through execution and production. We want someone who has big, weird ideas and can make them come to life, whether we’re building one-off installations or designing for manufacture.
- A diverse portfolio of objects that have been built, preferably manufactured, but should at least have been prototyped and explored physically
- Demonstrate a range of approaches to solving problems and telling stories.
- CAD expert both surfacing and building
- Strong design intuition
- Refined aesthetic sensibility
- Ability to create unique points of view based on behavioral and cultural inspiration. Track record of collaborating with UX, Visual Design and Brand
- Confident presentation manner
- Articulate critic of own work and others. Can succinctly describe why something is good or bad and give constrictive criticism to push a design forward
- Entrepreneurial drive. Examples of self-initiated products and projects
- Examples of work outside of ID (ME, EE, UX, VD, Brand, Copywriting, etc). Not an expert but a dabbler
