Display Design Engineer

MEYERS conveniently located in northwest Minneapolis is an award winning manufacturer of premier displays, signage, labels and cards.

We are seeking a creative and talented individual to join our award winning Creative Department at Meyers. This position will work closely with graphic designers to create the graphic content, develop presentations for client meetings, develop prototypes and assist project management with quotes for customers. - Develop all mechanical, electrical and graphical specs to fabricate prototypes -Ensure the design intent of the prototype best matches the original design concept -Prepare requests for quotes and works with potential suppliers - Produce engineering drawings and parts lists - Generates sketches, line drawings, detailed CAD files as required - Aid and assist Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing as needed to ensure complete Customer satisfaction

- BA/BS in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Point of Purchase Displays is required - Minimum of 5-7 years of project management overseeing the entire production cycle Solidworks, Form-Z, Creative Suite experience is required, 7 plus years of experience preferred - Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively deal with change management, and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Candidates must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
