Industrial Designer

We are looking for a creative individual to take on Industrial Design responsibilities in our San Diego based office. This is a recent grad/entry/mid level position reporting to company management and working closely with the CDO.

• In conjunction with other members of the R&D team, create innovative and compelling design concepts, illustrations, detail drawings and be able to take these designs into CAD (Rhino or Solidworks).
• An understanding of basic manufacturing techniques and implied design ramifications is a strong positive. You will also be asked to attend meetings with inventors, partners and 3rd party vendors and enact direction from meetings.
• This is a great opportunity for recent grads to accelerate their skills and knowledge in a mentored fast-paced environment.
• Applicants with 1-5 years experience will also be strongly considered.

• Skill set: Industrial Design, concept design, illustration, CAD, (Manufacturing a plus)
• Qualifications: BA/MA Industrial Design / Toy Design / Product Design / Automotive Design
• Experience: recent grad / 1-2 years (individuals with more experience may be considered dependant on specific skills)
