Summary
CEB is looking for an Executive Advisor in CEB’s Audit Leadership Council working out of CEB’s Arlington, VA offices. CEB Audit Leadership Council is a membership for innovative chief audit executives (CAEs) who want to optimize the performance of their function and business. Our research and insights are rooted in the challenges our members deem most important and span topics that impact your organization's day to day as well as longer-term strategic initiatives. We use relationships and learnings from the best CAEs to help you and your team save time and make better decisions. Executive Advisors are responsible for managing the client experience for C-suite and senior level executives of CEB’s clients (members.) They diagnose specific business challenges and articulate to members how CEB’s insights and services can address them, while ultimately ensuring that companies derive value from membership with CEB. Executive Advisors partner with the revenue team (including both account management and sales teams) to drive revenue outcomes by fostering strong member relationships, providing superior customer service, and using information learned from members to align future CEB offerings with member needs and market trends. Executive Advisors in CEB Audit Leadership Council are also responsible for supporting the execution of a strong product plan including but not limited to member artifact collection, identification and communication of thematic member priorities to product leadership, execution of webinars, and oversight and creation of toolkits and resources.
Responsibilities
• Deliver customized insights to members by matching specific business needs to existing research and resources. The ability to capture member voice on internal audit challenges and translate that back to the membership is critical. • Create and package insights into a scalable format for client consumption • Drive engagement and participation with key CEB Audit Leadership Council resources and diagnostics. Executive Advisors are responsible for driving program metrics such as website utilization, meeting attendance, and benchmarking participation. • Collaborate closely with account management teams to develop strategies for member engagement and strong renewal performance. • Facilitate live and virtual meetings, strategic offsite events, and networking opportunities for member executives • Ability to engage members, diagnose their needs, align CEB research and services to those needs. • Create targeted strategies and plans for member use. • Promote the market value of CEB’s research and services by understanding key competitors, developing messaging around key product differentiators, and contributing to the creation of internal and external sales collateral as needed • Assist in driving timely revenue outcomes • Provide content training, scripting, and coaching for the revenue team • Provide market feedback to department leadership, and partner with the research team to support the creation of new and/or improved products and services
Ideal Candidate
What Are the Basic Qualifications? • Bachelors degree • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% • At least 4 years in related field or industry with a particular interest in internal audit. What Are the Preferred Qualifications? • Graduate degree • 4+ years in related field or industry • Proficient in distilling data or information to identify key findings • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytic and problem skills • Ability to highly engage senior-level executives at current member companies by building relationships, establishing credibility, conducting substantive content discussions, diagnosing needs, solving problems, and identifying relevant resources • Strong project management and time management skills • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed environment
