Summary
As a member of the Partnerships team, you will help drive growth and revenue by identifying, executing, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives. You’ll contribute to Earnest’s partner programs by understanding market dynamics, evaluating new opportunities, conducting partner outreach, negotiating agreements, and nurturing partner relationships. We are looking for an experienced partnerships teammate to play a critical role in growing and managing high–impact partnerships that accelerate Earnest’s market share. You possess strong partnership experience, a proven ability to work well cross-functionally and an infectious passion for building the future of financial services. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a small, nimble team working on products that have the potential to impact millions of people’s financial wellness.
Responsibilities
* Identify opportunities, lead discussions with partners, execute agreements and grow partner relationships * Manage reporting and deliverables for existing partners * Analyze data to help drive growth and to develop new and existing business opportunities * Strike a balance between driving client growth and evaluating opportunities in the context of what Earnest needs to strategically grow our business * Communicate and collaborate with key teams within Earnest including risk, product, client happiness, legal, and marketing
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years in partnerships, or an equivalent role, with experience working with product and cross functional teams * BS/BA degree; MBA or JD a plus * Experience in and a comprehensive understanding of user growth strategies and partnership models * Exceptional interpersonal skills, including communication, networking, prospect identification, relationship-building, negotiation, and building influence * Keen understanding of commercial agreements and ability to collaborate with legal counsel to ensure agreements are executed flawlessly * Keen analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations * Creative and strategic thinker who enjoys brainstorming new opportunities with co-workers and partners * Strong project management skills and a track record of on-time delivery * Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment that is fast-paced and fluid; able to embrace ambiguity and is a self-starter * Proven ability to operate in a collaborative cross-functional environment, providing thought leadership and market context to help drive consensus and reach decisions * Demonstrated track record of delivering results * Consumer tech industry experience
