Responsibilities
* Own all budget and forecasting processes including financial/operating/statistical reporting; annual operating plan and capital budget; and cash flow analysis including scenario/predictive analyses * Prepare and interpret financial reports, run projections, create financial models, LTV calculations, and expenditure reviews * Manage finances in line with complex broker-dealer rules * Collaborate cross functionally with Leadership team in all departments of the company * Identify areas of strategic growth and operational efficiency across the business and advise on investment into these areas * Develop management reports, board presentations and investor reports * Assist in the fundraising process including preparing materials for presentations and diligence * Understand and communicate financial results and trends to management, and recommend appropriate course of action when results vary from forecast * Work cross functionally to ensure accurate reporting on all financial metrics and OKRs * Proactively develop key financial analysis and insights to help enable the company to meet its monthly, quarterly and annual OKRs * Model the businesses and produce scenario analysis to help investors understand the opportunity
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years of experience in financial strategy, planning and analysis; consumer based, technology and/or fintech environment * BA from a top university; masters, CPA, or CFA preferred * Financial modeling experience including three statement models * Strong strategic and business decision-making abilities * Excellent business partnership/leadership/team building skills, excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation and conflict resolution skills, decision-making skills * Ability to analyze and integrate multiple data sources into decision format, interpret data, identify issues/opportunities, and implement solutions * A self-starter with meticulous attention to detail * Ability to work across disciplines to generate new processes and/or resolve issues * Excellent presentation and communication skills * Masterful grasp of Excel **Nice-to-haves** * Prior experience in a growth stage venture-funded company
