Summary
The Data Services Account Manager, will be responsible for providing IT project organization and planning for the Data Services Implementation team for new healthcare client implementations and special projects. He/she will provide a strong link between our business partners, customers and IT Data Services teams. The DS Account Manager will work hand-in-hand with both the technology and clinical business units to maintain a strong strategic relationship with our customers throughout the software development life cycle to ensure future opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the IT Project liaison between our healthcare business partners (Internal and External) and the IT Data Services team (this is not a Help Desk role) * Work with Data Services management to meet client deliverables as well as manage specialty projects * Provide administrative support and direct client interface to implement the agreed upon data exchange requirements * Support Data Services management with all aspects of implementation, including facilitating internal and external meetings to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met, creation of meeting agendas, documentation of meeting minutes, project plans and other key tracking documents * Ensure that all operational tasks associated with the new client implementations are met * Work with Program Directors and Plans to interpret and understand requirements in order to facilitate discussions related to IT implementations * Work with IT Leadership to identify risks, opportunities and propose corrective actions for new client implementations and specialty projects * Track project progress to ensure that IT tasks associated with Data Services implementations are completed on time and escalate as needed to ensure timeliness of activities. * Provide technical credibility to the organization by ensuring technical questions from our business partners are responded to in a timely manner * Effectively communicate status, changes, and issues to the relevant parties and stakeholders. * Quickly address and /or escalate project issues and support their resolution. * Ability to travel to client sites (up to 15%)
Ideal Candidate
**3 to 5 years’ experience in the following areas:** * Proven Project Management experience, PMP desirable * Customer Service and presentation skills * Excellent organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to determine project estimates and provide deliverables within expected timeframes * Experience working in Healthcare IT (Required) * In-depth knowledge of EDI healthcare transactions * Documentation and Audit skills * HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid and other Regulatory Knowledge (may be required for certain positions) * Basic-Intermediate SQL query experience and ability to pass a test (Required)
