Platform Analyst

For more than 50 years, Associated Electric Cooperative has provided reliable, wholesale power generation and high-voltage transmission to its six transmission co-op member-owners. They supply 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, Iowa and Oklahoma serving about 875,000 member homes, farms and businesses.

Candidates must be passionate, talented people who love solving unique problems, wearing many hats and working with customers. - The Springfield Headquarters is currently seeking applicants to fill a Platforms Analyst position in the Corporate Services Department of the Information Services Division. The Platforms Analyst role works with business partners and other development members to define and review system specifications. The Platforms Analyst will manage significant projects involving external parties, the technical team and business partners. This will include overall ownership of milestones and deliverables, project proposals, business justification and communication efforts. This position will then oversee the evaluation, acquisition, integration, configuration, design, administration and troubleshooting of the enterprise wide platform systems including but not limited to SharePoint, SiteFinity, and K2 Blackpearl. The Platforms Analyst will be called upon as needed to perform various tasks on projects, including solution design, development, testing, debugging, and deploying. To be successful, this role will require a varied mix of skills including the ability to prioritize, communicate, analyze problems, develop solutions and understand numerous technologies. This position interfaces primarily with other team members, external parties and business partners.

- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or computer information systems or commensurate experience (required) - Experience with development and system design of enterprise, web or desktop environments (required) - C# and SQL Server experience (preferred). - Experience with SharePoint, SiteFinity or K2 Blackpearl (preferred). - Demonstrate talent and experience with business process analysis and oral and written communication.
