We have an immediate need for a Principal Programmer Analyst located at our Aliso Viejo, CA corporate headquarters.

• Responsible for the day-to-day administration, stabilization, debugging and emergency support for all Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS). Responsible for Administrative activity like Backup and restore, install patches and updates for Share Point, install and update third party software, configure search and content migration.
• Participate in the deployment of SharePoint related solutions.
• Support existing SharePoint infrastructure MOSS 2007/2010 Server Farms and Services.
• Administer and maintain existing sites and sub-sites.
• Apply SharePoint/Web industry standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement technical solutions, including 3rd party plug-in and custom code to provide solutions.
• Provides technical assistance to Site Administrators. May assist in the planning of overall company strategy involving internet usage.
• May make hardware and/or software purchasing recommendations or decisions regarding web development.
• May perform overall administration of sites at a companywide level. 11.Ensures fair and equitable treatment of all employees by complying with company Affirmative Action goals, programs and policies.
• Performs related and other duties as required.

• Requires an Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience, and 5-7 years related experience in programming computer applications.
• Must have a strong understanding of SharePoint 2003/2007/2010 farm architectures including security, and integration with Active Directory and other dependencies
• Must have experience in an environment with structured Application Lifecycle Management practices that involve deploying solutions across development, stage, and production environments.
• Must have experience with change management tools and processes.
• Experience customizing SharePoint in any way.
• Experience in implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools (forums, issues lists, etc.).
• Experience with customization of WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 and SP 2010 site templates and development of new templates.
• 3-5 years of experience developing Web-based applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET 3.5, 2.0+, ASP.NET, and SQL Server).
• Proficient with Visual Studio 2005/2010 development environment and tools
• SharePoint 2010 administration using Central Admin and STSADM, batch files, and exposure with Power Shell.
• Experience in Share Point Designer 2010.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business; verbally and in writing.
• Experience producing end-user and technical documentation.
• Can help others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.
• Ability to know when SharePoint is not the right solution for a business problem and can communicate this effectively.
• Experience and/or ability to organize and collaborate with various resources (internal and external) to drive resolution of issues or completion of small-to-large sized tasks / projects
• Umbraco experience is a plus but not required.
