Summary
The purpose of this position is to ensure the client is brought to market according to currently established timelines and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that all stakeholders are appropriately engaged and aligned. This new client line will leverage both Merial presence in the animal health market and its strong brand equity.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain the project plan including identification of project tasks, timelines and dependencies * Engage with project team members (internal and external partners) to obtain status updates and ensure tasks are being completed within agreed upon timelines * Creating project status reports and dashboards for stakeholders * Identifying and communicating project risks including time, budget, quality resource and other risks to project leadership * Participate in project meetings with internal project teams and external partners, capture and distribute meeting minutes and conduct follow up on action items * Engage with internal functions such as procurement, finance and supply chain to understand process requirements and policies and help facilitate execution according those * Monitor resource allocation and expenses for partners/external contractors to stay within allocated budgets
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 5+ years of progressive project management experience: * Experience leading large, complex initiatives * Thorough understanding of the project management process * Product development and healthcare experience * PMP and Consulting Background preferred * Strong interpersonal and communication skills: * Ability to engage with stakeholders at every level both internal to the organization and with external partners and contractors. * Ability to motivate people and creating alignment around a joint goal * Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully execute under accelerated timelines and competing priorities * High level of comfort to execute in highly ambiguous situations * Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to successfully execute without high levels of instruction * Experience in quickly acquiring subject matter and industry knowledge * Strong business acumen and influence skills * Strong analytical skills
