Desktop Support Analyst I

Ambit Energy provides electricity and natural gas services in deregulated markets across the United States, primarily marketed through a direct sales channel of more than 400,000 Independent Consultants.

* Provide first level support to Ambit’s internal technology users covering the following technologies: * Microsoft network * Windows PC operating systems * Windows Office suite * Common desktop apps; Adobe Acrobat, FTP, Browsers, etc. * Printers * PC Hardware * Receive, coordinate, prioritize and resolve user ticket requests via phone, instant messaging and remote connection technologies, sitting for extended time frames in a help desk job position * Provide Active Directory user administration * Participate in on-call rotation * Must be able to work weekends as needed * Prioritize and manage the ticket queue * Communicate task status * Contribute to technical documentation * Complete assigned tasks on time * Follow Ambit’s processes * Complete tasks with appropriate oversight
