Summary
The Program Manager- Global Field Enablement is responsible for managing, driving and tracking key field enablement programs- including sales and technical learning programs- for the AWS Training and Certification team. In collaboration with Commercial and Public Sector Enablement, the Program Manager will manage the process of initiation, design, vendor engagement, delivery and tracking of these key initiatives; manage communication for all stakeholders; maintain details of all training curriculum, certification and training events; enhance and curate training content in our learning management system; and build key metrics and reporting to measure impact to AWS' business.
Responsibilities
* Working with AWS Enablement Managers to track and maintain all projects in one stakeholder viewable format * Working closely with the Instructional Design team and tracking all projects through the use of project management tools * Track and maintain all global localization projects on the roadmap * Track and maintain all development projects managed by a vendor * Providing regular project status reports to AWS Global Field Enablement team * Create and manage a curriculum deprecation process and track all deprecation projects. * Ensure timely and high quality delivery for all projects * Define, measure, and report on all success measures for our internal enablement efforts * Improve project efficiency by identifying process improvements
Ideal Candidate
* Project management experience preferably with large educational projects * Training and development vendor management experience * Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project or SmartSheet and other Microsoft Office tools * Excellent written and oral communication skills * 5+ years’ experience in a large, matrixed organization * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to track and maintain large amounts of data.
