Summary
The Alzheimer's Association National office seeks a Senior Associate Director of Data and Analytics, a newly-created position, responsible for managing and analyzing principal and major gift donors fundraising data. The Senior Associate Director will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Fundraising Initiatives and work closely with the Senior Director of Major and Planned Gifts and other staff. This position will be based at the National office in downtown Chicago and travel is expected to be under 10%.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of association databases and tracking systems * Work across departments to determine data needs, prepare and provide reports as necessary * Design and implement systems for tracking and reporting revenue * Collaborate with the Relationship Development team to set annual and quarterly revenue projections * Monitor and analyze performance and trends and produce reports to inform strategy * Create reports and dashboards needed to manage portfolios, track progress and illustrate trends * Produce quarterly and year-end analytics on donors, revenue and tactics to evaluate strategies * Assist with database administration and maintenance
Ideal Candidate
* BA degree, Advanced degree a plus * 5+ years of nonprofit data experience * Expertise in fundraising database management, data analysis, and reporting * Experience in a non-profit fundraising department * Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills * Ability to drive the program and seek opportunities to pro-actively analyze and present new sets of data * Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly convey technical and data issues to internal teams, and others as needed * Ability to maintain flexibility, motivation, and enthusiasm. * Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and carry out activities independently to meet specific timelines and goals * Keen understanding of working in a federated, non-profit structure
