Summary
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Responsibilities
* This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. * The Project Manager will also help define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the life cycle. * PM will be responsible for managing projects such as iPad apps, custom interactive online courses and web sites, and will manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Training in formal Project Management methodologies * 5+ years related work experience * Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Dreamweaver and Acrobat * Strong familiarity with project management and quality control software such as MSProject, Codebase, Workamajig, Elementool, Bugzilla, etc. * Ability to create and understand user flow documents and wireframes using Microsoft Visio, Axure or similar programs. * Working knowledge of current Internet and video technologies; * Must be able to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies * Agile - Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities; * Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently; * Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines; * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Strong written and oral communication skills * Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating * Strong team building skills * Demonstrated experience in resource management
