Summary
AGCO is currently seeking a Manager of Product Support to lead our Technical Services and Support team in Jackson, MN. The Manager will mainly be responsible for managing and directing the daily activities of the Product Support Team in their assigned North America location. The Manager of Product Support will also oversee the North America STC service agenda process and provide performance metrics. Additionally, the Manager will provide hands-on support to Senior-level staff as it relates to vehicle behavior, trending, repair frequency, cycle time and PDI scoring.
Responsibilities
- Oversee teams as they work with AGCO Engineering and Manufacturing to identify and correct product reliability issues - Ensure all relevant technologies are being utilized and integrated into the business of product health teams - Resolve staffing issues including new hires, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Assign, measure, monitor, and review team member yearly performance objectives - Provide oversight of team member performance enhancement actions - Carry out coaching and training actions required to improve team member performance - Coordinate between support sites to manage the product health teams and processes - Improve SOURCE Knowledge Object (KO) quality through feedback corrections, quality improvement activities, knowledge engineering, and team development and training - Develop, implement, and monitor Product Health improvement performance objectives - Manage daily activities of the Product Health functional area - Develop, evolve, and maintain SOURCE and Warranty reports
Ideal Candidate
**Required/Education Qualifications of the Manager, Product Support:** - 5+ years of mechanical technical support experience - 10+ years of experience working with mobile equipment - 3+ years of supervisory or management experience - Bachelor's Degree **Preferred Qualifications of the Manager, Product Support:** - Bilingual (French, Spanish, German, English) - 1+ years of Agricultural or Agronomy experience - Masters Degree or PhD
