Summary
AGCO is currently seeking a Director, Information Security- Leadership II to join our Information Technology team in Duluth, GA. The Director, Information Security will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a strategic company-wide information security vision and for creating a roadmap to ensure cyber security of all enterprise systems, applications and data. The Director, Information Security will be responsible for defining information security staffing and sourcing needs and for leading and motivating cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals
Responsibilities
- Serve as security Subject Matter Expert (SME) by ensuring the most efficient and effective security solutions and practices are in place which prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption - Assist all internal teams with the identification and evaluation of cyber security gaps - Assist software development teams by providing guidance in the area of Secure System Development Life Cycle, and develop the processes that ensure the appropriate level of secure code scans are performed prior to implementing code into the production environment. - Oversee risk assessments, technical architecture design review and project security reviews ensuring key applications and networks are managed for risk mitigation. - Develop quick response process to address any breach that may occur followed by the appropriate Root Cause Analysis and drive action plans to completion to shore up our environment based upon the understanding from the RCA. - Define information security staffing and sourcing model based on resource constraints, articulating capability, risk, and cost trade-offs as needed. - Create a framework for roles and responsibilities with regard to information data ownership, classification, accountability and protection. - Liaise among the information security team, corporate compliance and internal audit, legal and HR management teams as required. - Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats, and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action. - Develop, maintain, update and publish up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines
Ideal Candidate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to establish strong cross-organizational partnerships - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization from executives to technology specialists - Solid Information Security background, including information and cyber security assessment, risk analysis, privacy, data protection, regulatory frameworks, as well as risk and security architecture and demonstrated experience in leading cyber incident response - 5+ years of experience cyber security practices (including managing / conducting security audits for both custom built and 3rd party applications) - Demonstrable experience running security education programs across development and infrastructure teams and across business employees as a whole - Deep expertise in firewall, system, operating system configuration management, patching, anti-virus, and network architectures as well as in at least one Operations technical skill set (Network Engineering, Unix System Administration, databases etc.) - Strong knowledge of information security threats, Vulnerability management, and countermeasures and associated operational best practices - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that involve key stakeholders across a complex organization and will be responsible for leading the AGCO Global Information Security Program. - Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment. - High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity. **Education of the Director, Information Security:** - Bachelor's degree is highly preferred required, specifically in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field - CISSP, GIAC, or CISM certifications are preferred
