Summary
As part of the Aetna Enterprise Sales Technology team, this role will be responsible for the ongoing support of the Aetna Enterprise Salesforce.com instance and the realization of a positive Business user experience. The position is tied to Aetnas design and implementation of the Enterprise module to support sales pipeline, account management, reporting and internal sales compensation efforts across multiple business units. The Enterprise Salesforce.com Administrator will be responsible for working with multiple business unit leads to resolve day-to-day production issues, gather detailed business requirements, coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing and implement new releases. The role involves: Matrix responsibility and accountability to the Enterprise Project and Business Unit teams; Exposure across a wide portion of the Aetna enterprise, including sales teams, underwriting team, plan sponsor services team and technical teams; Substantial opportunity to influence and impact the sales effectiveness and sales productivity results across multiple business segments.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day, break/fix, enhancement and issue resolution support. * Manage help desk issues and work with our IT team to resolve them. * Work with Business unit leads to gather, clarify and document their submitted issues and ideas into business requirement documents. * Coordinate, create and execute user acceptance testing plans. * Coordinate and conduct production checkout on new releases * Create and maintain standard reports in Enterprise Salesforce.com to meet operational requirements including maintaining a set of reports to satisfy business user needs. * Manage Salesforce.com security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, sharing rules and other setup configuration options of Salesforce.com. * Provide process and issue resolution training for new Enterprise Salesforce.com leads. * Keep abreast and evaluate Salesforce.com apps that can be used for the Enterprise Salesforce.com instance. * Create, update and implement system procedure documents. * Assist in evaluating other business unit Salesforce.com instances for potential conversion into the Enterprise Salesforce.com instance.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * Must have 3+ years of Salesforce.com Administration and Development experience with a proficiency in VisualForce and Apex development. * Must understand and be able to implement Salesforce.com configuration changes. * Solid understanding of integration and data flow. * Working knowledge of Agile project management and Scrum process. * Ability to gather, organize and simplify business requirements. * Microsoft Access and Visio experience preferred. * Basic understanding of the Sales process. * Proven and demonstrable track record of being an elite performer in their current and past role. **Background/Experience desired:** * General Skills * Knowledge of system implementation process * Excellent communication skills * Technology savvy * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently * Collaboration skills: work well across matrix organization * Creativity skills: generate new ideas and implement creative solutions **Education:** * The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. **Additional Job Information:** - Individuals, who are analytical and technical in nature, enjoy assessing complex problems and can provide creative solutions will thrive in this role.
