Summary
Become part of the team that improves the internal search engines for Adobe's Creative Cloud, providing the world's best creative tools, leading cloud services for managing creative assets, and the leading marketplace for stock images. Search is at the very core of the service offered to our customers, with 13 languages covered, and millions of searches every day. The objective is to make search a world class, leading edge, differentiating asset in terms of search effectiveness and experience.
Responsibilities
* Work on search engines powering Adobe Stock and/or Creative Cloud. * Maintain and optimize search engine, identify new ideas to evolve it, develop new features and benchmark possible solutions, in terms of search effectiveness but also user experience, performance and feasibility. * Develop expertise in Elasticsearch, building search indexes, and work on implementing new scoring formulas. * Work closely with other engineering teams (front/UI, data, etc). * Ensure search upgrades/ features are released and integrated into the website with the help of the front/UI engineering teams
Ideal Candidate
* BS in Computer Science * Experience with Java and Javascript languages like PHP or Python * Familiarity with search engine technology, inverted indexes, big data processing, hadoop. * Bonus for experience with Elasticsearch/SolR, machine learning and search ranking. **Making our technology accessible to all** We believe everyone should have equal access to technology and its benefits.
