Data Scientist

We are looking for Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists to join a new team in the heart of Silicon Valley trying to solve an $8 billion problem! You will have the opportunity to work with emergent technology, and help us set new standards for the industry as a whole.

* Experience working with production machine learning technology * Experience working with predictive analysis based on large data sets * Experience working with sentiment analysis, NLP, topic extraction, named entity extraction * Experience with processing Big Data (more than a few terabytes) * Experience with concept-mapping and/or ontologies * Practical production experience with python * Proficiency with R, Matlab, Spark, SQL/NOSQL, and/or other Big Data software * Proficiency with data structures and algorithms * Mathematical aptitude and mind-set * Proficiency with prototyping and productionizing novel algorithms * Statistical proficiency a plus * Proficiency with Hadoop, EMR, and/or related technologies a plus * Proficiency with Amazon AWS cloud services not necessary but is a plus * PhD / Masters degree in mathematics or computer science encouraged, or 5+ years of related industry experience
