Summary
As a Product Manager, you will serve as a customer proxy and work with business stakeholders and multiple talented development teams to define the product roadmap and prioritize the backlog so that the solution effectively addresses business and user needs while maintaining technical integrity. Cloud Technology provides fundamental capabilities that power the go to market strategy of Creative Cloud, Document Cloud and Marketing Cloud products. You will be responsible for taking specific product features from requirement analysis to writing specifications and user stories on the backlog, making sure that the development team is aware about the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company.
Responsibilities
* Work independently and own the product * Use market knowledge to define the product vision * Drive relevant product management meetings and customer conversations * Manage business owners’ expectations, by pitching the product vision to internal stakeholders * Describe the product benefits in a way that helps marketing and sales reach new and existing customers * Describe the product functionality in a way that enables customer support agents to troubleshoot customer issues * Drive backlog grooming, planning and vision refinement sessions with the team * Transform requirements into feature specs /user stories * Establish story acceptance criteria for the development team * Participate in daily meetings with the development team * Actively address ambiguity and change in the product backlog * Protect the team from outside interference
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of product management or 7+ combined with software development experience * Experience doing customer interviews * Ability to write both business requirements and functional specs * Risk management capabilities * Experience working with teams that employ agile software development methodologies * Experience with SaaS, Web Services and SOAs (REST, SOAP) is considered a big plus * B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus) * Effective communication with customers and remote stakeholders is mandatory * Very good listening skills * Enthusiastic, creative and innovative attitude
