Senior Technical Architect - High Performance Payments Platform

Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful delivery of detailed engineering solutions to clients through consulting and project management activities. The Sr. Technical Architect will plan, coordinate, and monitor large and medium sized projects.

* Translate client business requirements into solutions supported by Wipro’s offerings. Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery * Participate in project cost estimating and proposal generation/presentation activities related to implementation projects * Develops an understanding of the functional business requirements for the project and how they are addressed in the design. * Works with other Senior Technical Architect/Technical Architects (some of them offshore) to implement the optimum solution architecture * Build highly-available, highly-performant, redundant, scalable distributed systems that are easy to operate * Involve in Build and systems engineering of payment platforms and in developing custom real time monitoring solutions * Write code that is performant, maintainable, clear, and concise. * Work closely with other engineers within your group and across the entire engineering organization. * Represent the team and its products effectively to our customers - other engineers in the organization.

* Experience with developing scalable and complex distributed systems * Experience in distributed engineering, with skills like clustering, messaging protocols, time series DBs, Java Script etc * Experience with full stack engineering in building Payments platform, Big Data Reporting & Analytics platform, Web Content Monetization platform and Scalable Fault Tolerant Web Applications. * Experience with distributed storage systems such as Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB or MegaStore BigTable. * Required language skills: advanced Java, Python, C, or C++ (Scala is a plus) * Development experience in asynchronous I/O, threading, and memory management * A strong sense of pride and ownership over the technology you work on. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience of Continuous Integration, Deployment, Release and DevOps * Production experience with UNIX/Linux environments.
