Information Security Specialist

The Information Security Specialist functions as part of a team responsible for ensuring Opus CMC has Information Security policies, processes, practices and procedures in place to identify risks and developing, implementing and monitoring long term information security and mitigation strategies to protect Opus CMC assets.

* Coordinate, track and respond to client risk assessments (e.g. Standard Information Gathering (SIG) questionnaires) * Administration of quarterly identity management reviews involving applications, systems and devices across the various departments within the organization * Coordinate annual business continuity tests amongst offices and disaster recovery testing to ensure operational readiness. * Coordinate activities in support of the annual Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE 16) audit performed by an independent 3rd party. * Participation in company risk management committee and management of company “Risk Register” * Coordinate annual review and growth of policies and procedures towards ensuring alignment with ISO27002. * Participates in projects for the purpose of recommending security frameworks, controls and auditing requirements. * Coordination and reporting of Incident Management investigations * Regular monitoring of information security logs and testing of controls

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications of analyses, results, and work products; * Solid organization skills with an ability to maintain good documentation and record keeping * Four (4) years of progressively responsible IT work experience with a focus on information security controls across applications, systems, devices and procedures. * College degreepreferred but not required. * CISSP or CISA Certification a plus * Knowledge and experience with SOC 2 / ISO27002 controls a plus
