Summary
Westfield Labs seeks an experienced, data-driven product leader with experience working work engineers, designers, and other product teams to deliver great consumer experiences. One of our biggest initiatives is to make our properties searchable so customers can easily search online for every retailer, product, service, deal, or event our centres have to offer. As the product lead for search and catalog, you will be responsible for setting our search and catalog strategy to help us collect, index, and make available as much information about the retailers, products, services, and more that our centres offer. A customer’s ability to find what they want is at the core for enabling great experiences around location information, product reservation, and product ordering.
Responsibilities
* Own product roadmap and strategy for Westfield Search Service, digital search experiences, and Westfield Catalog Services * Manage Westfield relationship with key third party vendors that support search and catalog products * Own key metrics and company reporting related to search * Work with cross functional team of engineers, product managers, program managers, and designers to deliver key search service enhancements * Own product input to user experience and usability testing related to search * Own roadmap for collection, indexing, and integration into search of additional centre data like retailer services * Own roadmap for search engine optimization (SEO) enhancements and manage relationships for any vendors providing SEO support * Own roadmap and execution of any enhancements or updates to current product, retailer, or services catalogs
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * 3-5 years of product management experience with direct product ownership * Passion for customer focus and consumer experience * Demonstrated background in developing product roadmaps, product requirements, launching new products or features, facilitating customer research and user testing, and growing existing products * Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, particularly development/engineering teams and designers * Demonstrated organization, presentation, and writing skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, corporate executives, and consumers * Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments * BA/BS degree **Preferred Qualifications:** * MBA or related master’s degree * Proficiency in data analytics, SQL, and Microsoft Excel * Experience partnering with third-party vendors * Agile and Waterfall project management experience * Domain expertise in search or retail
