Summary
This position will supervise and manage the support staff necessary to deliver the services described.
Responsibilities
* Manage assigned case load; maintain all documentation and required time lines for clients pertaining to case load. * Participate in recommendation process to the immediate supervisor, Program Coordinator, and other staff as appropriate. * Review each employee’s job performance on a yearly basis (or more often if necessary). Make recommendations to the immediate supervisor regarding employee advancement and retention. * Responsible for maintaining appoints, schedules and documentation of case load. * Develop staff work schedule and assign daily responsibilities to ensure proper coverage for all shifts. * Ensure that all shift duties are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with WestCare procedures. * Participate in clinical staffing decisions regarding the patients’ current strengths and resources and their need for additional resources. * Complete documentation of services on provided forms in a timely manner. * Provides input into the patient’s treatment needs and disposition. *Assists other WestCare staff as needed in a collaborative manner to promote cooperation and portray a professional image to the community. * Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.

* Ability to work collaboratively with others in a manner that is pleasant and professional. * Strong time management skills. * Ability to work well in a team environment. * Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion. * Ability to operate a computer and complete documents in Microsoft Word program formats or the ability to learn. * Ability to respond as needed to crisis situations in an efficient manner. * Ability to complete work tasks within scheduled work hours. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Willing to seek out new work projects and contribute ideas and efforts to the constant improvement of WestCare services. **Education:** * A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Social Work; or a Bachelors degree with a social work major; orworking towards a degree in social work; or comparable years of qualifying experience
