Summary

The Analyst is responsible for financial analysis and market research to support for a top producing commercial loan originator. The Analyst works closely with the originator on the sourcing, structuring, and closing of transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist loan originator to identify and pursue new business leads, maintain existing client relationships and manage the sales pipeline
  • Conduct detailed economic and demographic research to determine feasibility of transactions
  • Assist in the review and analysis of financing proposals and commitments
  • Write, prepare and assemble Investment Memoranda
  • Analyze new proposed debt requirements and loan scenarios for our clients
  • Engage and manage vendor assignments in loan due diligence
  • Process loan documentation materials and assist clients in data entry
  • Coordinating and assisting in the closing process
  • Manage transactions across several stages from initial identification through final loan closing
  • Develop strong relationships with all internal and external clients
  • Maintain client data in Salesforce and generate reports as required
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (prefer finance and/or real estate concentration)
  • A minimum of 1 year of commercial real estate experience preferred
  • Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac multifamily production or underwriting experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent financial modeling skills including thorough knowledge of Excel required, and ARGUS a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word, and ability to learn Salesforce and other company software as needed
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines when appropriate
  • Ability to problem –solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and desire to continuously learn and advance
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis to other company offices for training or support
