Summary
The Vantiv Integrated Payments division is growing in our Denver Tech Center office! We are seeking Cross Sales Representative to assist existing, processing Integrated Payments merchants over the telephone in identifying additional products and services that merchants will benefit from. Cross Sales Representatives will also utilize consultative sales discussions, negotiations, and follow up calls to close the sale with merchants, along with coordinating with our Reseller partners when a merchant is adding new product feature to their business.
Responsibilities
* Assist new merchants via telephone and email in setting up credit card processing account. * Assist new and existing merchants in optimizing their ROI with value-added products. * Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations that will benefit the merchant and Mercury. * Assist the process of changing ownership, by coordinating between the Reseller Partner, new owner, and old owner, when a Point of Sale system will need to be reprogrammed with the new merchant ID, to ensure proper funding while adhering to Payment Card Industry Standards. * Develop and utilize consultative sales techniques to move new merchants to enrollment and processing. * Provide quality customer service to all Partners, Merchants, and Mercury Departments * Maintain consistent workflow; time management * Accept and complete assignments with open, cooperative, positive, and team oriented attitude. * Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of applicable products and services as they evolve. * Increase industry knowledge through internal resources, supervisors, fellow employee's, company trainings, and trade publications.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred * Communication Skills -- Effective written and oral communication skills are essential * Sales Acumen and Closing Skills * 1-3 years of relationship management or sales experience is desired but not required * Must be proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel * Attention to detail & ability to multi task and work under pressure with tight time frames * Must be able to travel up to <5%
