Our Company

Tyndale Company was founded in 1982 by R. Dale Whittenberger to supply safety equipment to large industrial organizations. In the early 1990s, the Company began to focus on flame resistant clothing for electric utilities, and pioneered a value-added distribution service, known as Individualized Delivery. In the late 1990s, Tyndale began to position itself as a service company, dedicated to supplying electric utilities with apparel services that they could not supply on their own. Throughout our history, we have sought to provide the “most efficient, least expensive” method to uniform employees of large organizations, and our outstanding record of customer retention indicates our success in this area. Tyndale, a WBE certified supplier, has been in the business of saving lives for over twenty years and with over 225 years of combined experience in the FR business, Tyndale's sales and management staff are among the most knowledgeable and tenured in the FR industry. As the country's leading provider of flame resistant apparel to electric utilities, we successfully design and deliver customized programs to meet the needs of both management and employees.
